           I am Pearly Mae M. Velasco from Saint Louis University, Baguio, Philippines. I am currently in my 4th year taking up Bachelor of Science major in English. I joined the Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia or most commonly known as Sea Teacher Project because I believe that this program is a good opportunity to learn and teach outside my comfort zone.

        Let me share a little information about my home university. Saint Louis University is a private Catholic university in Baguio City, Philippines. I am proud to say that SLU ranked as the number one best university in the Cordillera region and School of Teacher Education is qualified as Center of Excellence. This is the fourth time of SLU to join the SEAMEO Teacher project. Luckily, I am one of the few students who got the chance to experience the exchange student program.
